Better photo of sketch, added background. I had the urge to add more setting. Sort of works… Wanted a source of light, maybe candles too big, angle of wall not right. One of these days I’ll actually do a drawing i’ve worked out from the start. ^_^ Inspired by a fanfiction, James goes to the Hamilton’s after the bar fight.

those were supposed to be quick and i wanted to stylize the characters

well neither of those things happened

(i don’t know what it is about this show and its absolute refusal of letting me draw its characters in a less realistic way, i should just stop trying haha)

(also yes black sails is still eating me alive it’s fine i love it)
